In questo pezzo la pizzica tradizionale ‘Pizzica de focu’, alla quale sono stati aggiunti alcuni fraseggi originali, è fatta precedere da una citazione del celebre tema dell’habanera ‘L’amour est un oiseau rebelle’ dell’opera ‘Carmen’ di Georges Bizet, che ritornerà variato anche nei fraseggi all’interno del brano. Questo accostamento è meno strano di quello che potrebbe sembrare se si pensa che addirittura il filosofo F. Nietzsche ha fatto della ‘Carmen’ l’emblema del ‘Sud’, del calore mediterraneo memore delle remiscenze pagane, in contrapposizione alle brume nordiche del ‘Parsifal’ wagneriano.

In this track the traditional pizzica ‘Pizzica de focu’ (with some original melodies added by the band) is preceded by a quotation of the habanera ‘L’amour est un oiseau rebelle’ from the opera ‘Carmen’ by Georges Bizet. This combination is less strange that it could seem at first glance, in fact the philosopher F. Nietzsche used the opera ‘Carmen’ as a symbol of the ‘South’, of the mediterranean heat, in contrast to the nordic mists of Wagner’s ‘Parsifal’.
