Antro della sibilla cumana
Musica Mario Peperoni
Arrangiamento Migala, 4’02’’

The introduction presents many inspirations: the American minimalist composers ( Riley , Reich, Glass) , the psychedelic rock of the late ‘60s , the Italian and English prog-rock of the ‘70s and minimally from the Chinese music. A brief transition - that sounds like folk-prog - leads to the final part , which is a tribute to the tradition of folk music in South Italy: a review of the “tarantella” played in the Lydian mode , which is typical of “tammurriata”. The music is meant to symbolize the path of the faithfuls of the Sibyl of Cumae (Campania ), through the darkness of the narrow tunnels, to arrive in the cave of the prophetess, where they take a parte to a wild dance.
